Learn how to perform self-acupressure for treating fatigue in cancer survivors
MeTime is an application to teach the practice of acupressure for the relief of chronic fatigue. MeTime was developed by researchers at the University of Michigan to bring the benefits found in a National Cancer Institute (NCI) funded study, "Investigation of 2 Types of Self-administered Acupressure for Persisten Cancer-Related Fatigue in Breast Cancer Survivors: A Randomized Clinical Trial" Published in JAMA Oncology, to the broader public. The study found that fatigued women with breast cancer who performed self-acupressure once daily for six-weeks had their fatigue improved by 1/3. Sleep and quality of life also improved significantly. Detailed information regarding the study can be found at clinicaltrials.gov Identifier: NCT01281904
