WayBetter is a self-improvement app with fun, multi-week games where players commit to reach goals, stick to new healthy habits, and learn skills. With the WayBetter Way™, we’ve reinvented motivation. Backed by behavioral science, our games prove that with the right goals, the right support, and the right incentives - anybody can get WayBetter.

Want to exercise more? We’ve got games for that. Trying to cook better? Eat healthier? Meditate? We know just the way.

Membership is how you gain access to our games, hosts, and community. WayBetter members can join any of our Waybets across an ever-growing range of categories. Whether you’re starting your journey or honing your skills – you’ll find a game, a goal, and a supportive group of players that’s right for you.

Membership is free to try. In each game, you bet a small amount of money on yourself in order to have “skin in the game.” This is an essential part of our proven motivation formula. At the end of the game, the pot is split evenly among all the winners (WayBetter does not keep a cut of the pot).

How it works:
Every game has goals, a host (often an expert in fitness, cooking, nutrition, etc.), and a bet. In an exercise game, for example, players might each bet $15 that they’ll work out 8 times in 2 weeks. To win, you have to prove to WayBetter's Referees that you completed the challenge. Winners all get their bet back plus a profit funded by the players who dropped out. You won’t get rich (that’s not the point), but you will have fun getting better (that’s the point!)
