ChargeScope: Battery & Watts

Not all chargers are equal, and neither are cables. ChargeScope shows exactly how fast your phone is charging right now, in watts, amps and volts, so you can find out which charger actually delivers and which cable is quietly holding you back.

RECORD AND COMPARE
Record a charge session and ChargeScope keeps the whole curve: average and peak power, how long it took, how much charge went in. Record one session per charger and the comparison speaks for itself. Recording only ever starts when you tap Record, and runs with an ongoing notification so you always know it is active.

HONEST NUMBERS
Android has no API that reports charging power, so watts are calculated from current and voltage, and labelled as computed. Many phones report charging current in inconsistent units: some in microamps, some in milliamps, some with the sign inverted. ChargeScope calibrates itself against your device's own charge counter and tells you how confident it is. Low-confidence readings are shown as exactly that, never dressed up as precision.

These figures are measured at the battery, so they read lower than a USB meter at the wall. That difference is conversion loss, not an error.

NO ADS, NO TRACKING, NO ACCOUNT
ChargeScope has no internet permission. It cannot send your data anywhere, because it has no way to send anything at all. Recorded sessions live on your device and are deleted automatically after three days.
