Surat Al-Inshirah (Arabic: سورة الإنشراح‎, “Solace” or “Comfort”), or Surat al-Sharḥ (Arabic: سورة الشرح, "The Opening-Up of the Heart") is the ninety-fourth sura of the Qur'an with eight ayat. This sorat is positioned in Para 30 which is also known as Juz Amma (Juz' 30). Regarding the timing and contextual background of the supposed revelation (asbab al-nuzul), it is an earlier "Meccan / Makki surah", which means it is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, instead of later in Medina.

It is typically assumed that this sorah is referring to the early days of Muhammad's (pbuh) prophethood, when he would have been unsure about how his people would receive him. Because of subject matter, length, style, and placement in the Qur'an, this sorah is often coupled with Surah ad-Dhuha. They are generally considered to have been revealed around the same time.

The passage asks the reader, who is Muhammad (s) specifically, if God has been a comfort and a remover of obstacles. Whatever personal sorrows this may bring to mind, "Surely, with each difficulty there is ease". This may indeed be the key phrase of this surah; it is repeated in lines 5 and 6. Conversely, the reader is asked to continue their work diligently, even when it grows simple again - for God, Himself is what you are working for.

On the virtue of studying this Surah, the holy Prophet is reported to have said:
"He who recites this Surah will be rewarded the same as the one who met Muhammad unhappy and brought the grief out from his heart.”
1. Whoso recites this surah Allah would give him safety and conviction.
2. Whoso recites this surah on the chest, every ailment in the chest such as palpitation of heart etcetera,,would be cured.
3. If this surah is written on a china plate, washed with clean water and given to a person whose urine is not passing through, inshallah, after drinking it his urine would pass through easily.
4.If a patient suffering cold drinks this water inshallah he would be fully cured.

Reward of reciting Surah Alam Nashra

1. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.w.) said: Whoever recites it, Allah awards him safety and conviction. If someone has any ailment
in the chest then if it is recited over him and written for him, Allah would grant him cure.
2. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.w.) said: One who recites it, would be given reward like the one who meets Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w.) in a sorrowful mood and removes his grief.

Period of revelation:
It's a subject matter so closely resembles that of Surah Ad-Duha that both these Surah seem to have been revealed in about the same period under similar conditions. According to Abdullah bin Abbas, it was sent down in Makkah just after wad-Duha.
