Chemistry is a branch of science that deals with studying the properties of matter and the changes that happen to them. We investigate elements, compounds, chemical reactions, formulas and equations, and stoichiometry.Chemistry has five major branches. These are Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry.

What is Matter?. Is all matter the same?. Does all matter behave the same?.What are the three states of matter?.Can matter be classified further?.What are pure substances?. What are mixtures?. What are homogenous and heterogeneous mixtures?.

So what really are elements?. How many elements are there in the world?. Why do some substances produce bubbles?. Why do some substances release gas once they are mixed with other substances?. Why do some explode when combined with some other chemicals?. How do we measure properties of matter?.

Are atoms unbreakable?. What really is the structure of a compound?.These are some of the topics we’ll discuss in this course.
