S&T Exchanger

S&T Exchanger is a professional engineering workspace for designing new shell-and-tube heat exchangers and evaluating existing equipment.

Build a process case from tube-side and shell-side conditions, select the exchanger geometry, and review the connected thermal and hydraulic calculation. The app reports heat duty, corrected LMTD, overall heat-transfer coefficient, required or installed area, side heat-transfer coefficients, velocities, and pressure-drop components.

Phase-aware property checks evaluate inlet, bulk, and outlet states. Supported condensation, boiling, vapor, liquid, and mixed-phase routes are selected from the current fluid, temperature, pressure, geometry, and service. Unsupported property or phase envelopes fail closed instead of silently falling back to a single-phase result.

Auto mode selects a supported correlation path for the current service. Expert controls remain available for qualified review. The Design Advisor presents candidate geometry changes and predicted effects before anything is applied.

Additional tools include TEMA-style geometry controls, nozzle and mechanical checks, RFQ readiness, general-arrangement drawing preview, saved local projects, configurable units, and engineering PDF reports.
