Qard, Loan & Debt Tracker

Qard is a private, offline tracker for interest-free personal loans (qard hasan), the money you lend to, or borrow from, family and friends. It helps you follow the Quranic guidance to write a loan down and record its terms (2:282), so nothing is forgotten or disputed.

Qard is a record-keeping app only. It is not a lender, it does not provide loans, credit or any financial service, and no money moves through it. You simply record loans you have already agreed with people you know.

LEND OR BORROW
- Record money you have lent (given) and money you owe (taken), in one place.
- Every loan is interest-free by design: the amount to repay always equals the amount lent, never more.
- Add the person, the amount, the date, and an optional agreed repayment date or plan.

A CLEAR REPAYMENT LEDGER
- Log each repayment and always see exactly what is still outstanding.
- Mark a loan settled when it is fully repaid.
- Forgive a loan (2:280) or write one off, and keep the record either way.

REMINDERS IN TIME
- Gentle reminders before a repayment is due, and if a loan becomes overdue.
- Reminders are for you only. Qard never contacts the other person.

HELPFUL EXTRAS
- Create a simple written qard hasan agreement as a PDF to sign together.
- Record witnesses and attach a note, photo or PDF of the agreement to a loan.
- Share a polite, ready-written reminder with a borrower, only when you choose to send it.
- Export your outstanding loans to help work out your zakat (they can be sent to our Muslim Budget app, or read as plain text).

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Fully offline. No account, no sign-in, no cloud.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind.
- Your loan data never leaves your device. The only network use is Google Play billing if you choose to buy the optional unlock.
- Optional app lock with your fingerprint or face.
- Back up and restore to a file you control.

Qard is free to use for a few active loans; a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited loans and the extra tools. There is no subscription.
