A declaration is a statement, announcement, affirmation, or testimony. For us Christians, declarations are a medium for strengthening our faith and affirming our trust in God and His Word. Revelations 12:11 says "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." Whenever you make scriptural declarations, you activate your victory in Christ.
I have led the church to make these declarations every week before preaching the sermon. Many have obtained copies of these declarations and made them in their own private moments. We have had several testimonies over the years about the power of these declarations as weapons of spiritual warfare.
Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper." Therefore, as you read through these prophetic declarations, believe the prophet so that you can prosper.
All people love this verse from Luke 5:16 because it shows that just like you and all people, Jesus needed a break from the demands of his busy life to recharge his batteries and spend time with his Heavenly Father. The life of Christ is intended to give us examples we can follow and learn from.
Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given us and looking ahead at 2020, I believe it has never been more important for God's people to be on our knees. But knowing how to pray is not always easy. Jesus' disciples felt the same confusion. They were familiar with the oft-repeated prayers of the Torah. But Jesus prayed with a kind of authority and power they had never seen before - as though God was listening! So when they came to Jesus, as told in Matthew 6, they didn't say, “Teach us another prayer.” They said, “Lord, teach us to pray.”
God is powerful. The scriptures and the works of his hand have proven to us that He is. The power of God is wielded through the word of His mouth. Whenever God wants to do a thing, He speaks. His word says,
“He commanded and they were created, He spoke and it stood fast. Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created”. (Psalms 148.5). God rides on prophetic declarations to perform His works.
The greatest blessing God has given humanity is the words of our mouths. Through them, we can create our desired experience. Whatever you want to see happen must be declared through your mouth. There is no impossible mountain that cannot be moved when we make specific prophetic declarations into it.
