Sukut: Prayer Silent Mode

Sukut (سکوت) means silence - that's exactly what this app gives your phone.

Sukut automatically switches your phone to silent for each of the five daily prayers - Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha - and for Jumu'ah in place of Dhuhr on Fridays. When the prayer window ends, it puts your phone back exactly the way you had it.

Set once, then forget it
Set each prayer's start and end time — once. The app runs quietly in the background from then on: through screen-off, battery-saver mode, and even a phone restart. No need to open it every day.

Built for reliability
Uses Android's exact-alarm scheduling and includes clear guidance for phone brands (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, and others) that aggressively close background apps — so silencing keeps working even when the app itself isn't open.

Reminders, without disturbing the silence logic
Turn on a heads-up notification a set number of minutes before any prayer — completely separate machinery from the silencing itself, so a reminder can never interfere with the ringer.

Jumu'ah handled properly
Friday's Dhuhr slot is automatically replaced by a longer Jumu'ah window — no manual toggling required.
