The MicroREC app helps you capture medical imagery with ease, keep it organized and separated from your personal files in a camera roll, broadcast online or during conferences, or share on social media. It can facilitate dental, ophthalmic, ENT, neurology, plastic surgery, or any other type of micro recording.

The MicroREC app works with any optical system that enables attaching a smartphone to a microscope or slit lamp. It also can help you if you take images of patients manually. However, with the help of the MicroREC optical system, our complementary product, you can get much more and even broadcast surgeries live and enable telemedicine when your colleagues from other countries can give you live advice or mentor your surgery.

MicroREC app can optimize your slit lamp or microscopy recordings.

With it, you can:
--> Get full control of lighting conditions, focus, and other camera functionalities. Since conditions in operating rooms usually differ from other environments, regular cameras fail to adjust to them. The MicroREC app was specifically designed to take images in hospitals.
--> Stop messing photos of your family or pet with videos taken from your slit lamp. The MicroREC app keeps images secure and separated from personal files in a dedicated memory space.
--> Rotate images by 90 degrees. The optics of some microscopes rotate the image seen on the smartphone, and the MicroREC app allows you to control that.
--> Choose your video quality. We can facilitate video recordings in up to 8k if your smartphone has that capacity. But when you have a long surgery and don’t want to occupy too much memory, you can reduce the video size and get a smaller file.
--> Disable sound when needed so no one will hear your private conversations.

Plus, with the help of Zoom or other video conferencing apps, you can even broadcast your surgeries or examinations live, to share with students or other physicians.

The MicroREC app is continuously improving to match the needs of surgeons in ophthalmology, dentistry, neurology, ENT, plastic surgery, and other types of microsurgery.
