LOCATION-BASED ARMING
Choose an area, and AOVIS can switch a camera between Home, Away, and Disarmed when your phone leaves that area and when it comes back. You pick which mode applies to each.
Your camera keeps recording either way — arming mode only changes when you get notified. Your phone works out whether it is inside the area, and your location is never sent to AOVIS.

Location permissions
This app collects location data to enable Location-based arming even when the app is closed or not in use. It stays on your phone and is never sent to AOVIS.
Location-based arming is optional and off by default. It only changes the arming mode of the camera you set it up for, which affects the alerts you receive.
On Android 11 and earlier, Android also requires the location permission to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices while you set up a camera. AOVIS does not use it to determine your location.
