Metiris

Metiris is the field app for the Metiris platform. Use it with a Metiris optical spectrometer to collect leaf spectra as samples, then sync them to your organisation account for analysis.

Who it’s for
Metiris is for organisation members who measure crops in the field with Metiris hardware. You need an existing Metiris account to sign in.

What you can do
• Connect your Metiris spectrometer over Bluetooth or USB (USB on Android)
• Calibrate the sensor, then capture multiple spectra per sample with guided steps
• Create and manage field locations on a map, including crop and sampling settings
• Scan lab tags with the camera, and optionally record GPS coordinates on each measurement
• Work offline with local storage, then sync samples when you’re back online
• Download offline map tiles for use without a network connection
• View sample status, spectra progress, and nutrient results when your organisation has analysis enabled
• Get a notification when nutrient results are ready

How a typical measurement works
1. Sign in and choose your organisation
2. Select or create a field location (or start a sample without a location)
3. Connect and calibrate the spectrometer
4. Capture the required spectra for the sample
5. Sync when online so results can be processed on the Metiris platform
