About PlanMyRoute - Route Planner for Runners & Cycling

PlanMyRoute is a route planner that helps you create routes anywhere in the world. Using the app you can plan a route before you go running, road cycling, mountain biking or explore trails on hike.

Plan your perfect route
It's easy to create a new route. From the route planner screen, you can use draw mode to plot your route by drawing it out across a map.

You can also use the route planner in A-B mode, which lets you pick a start and end location (along with any waypoints), and then select one of the possible routes.

Maps
PlanMyRoute route planner comes with multiple maps to suite different activities (normal, satellite, cycling and hiking maps).

Pick the right route using extra information
To help you have a better understanding of your upcoming adventure, the route planner provides extra information about your route.
Currently this includes:
• Road Surface (e.g unpaved/paved/etc) information
• Road Type (e.g street/path/major road/etc) information
• Elevation profile across your route
• Elevation gain & elevation loss
• Estimated calories burn
• Activity duration

Snap to road
When using the route planner in draw mode to draw out your route, you might find it difficult to draw a route that sticks to the roads and trails. Snap to road is a feature that will automatically adjust your hand-drawn routes so that they are aligned along the right roads and trails on your route.
