CORVUS Digital Signage

CORVUS is a tool for companies already using the CORVUS digital signage platform. To access it, you need your company's server address and the credentials provided by your administrator: the application doesn't create accounts and doesn't function independently.

It's your daily control system, designed to handle tasks on the go that previously required returning to a computer: changing what's displayed on a screen, uploading the daily promotion photo, or checking from the street if the store in the north is still broadcasting.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Content
• Upload photos and videos with your camera or from your gallery
• Organize them into folders: create them, rename them, color them, and move content between them
• ​​Search by name and open any file to view it

Playlists
• Create and group them
• ​​Add and remove items, rearrange them by dragging or using the arrows
• Decide how many seconds each one lasts on screen
• Schedule them by date, day, and time

Channels
• Create them from a template and group them into blocks
• Assign a playlist to each area, with its image and audio settings
• Schedule them just like playlists

Screens
• Link a new screen with its code, and remove those that are no longer there
• Change the channel that each screen displays
• Raise or lower the volume and mute it
• Turn the content on and off, or restart the Player
• Request a screenshot of what's currently playing
• Set an automatic on/off schedule

When you open the app, you can see at a glance how many screens are online, which ones have been offline for a while, and how much storage space you have left.

WHAT YOU DO ON YOUR COMPUTER

Some tasks require a large screen and remain on the desktop CMS: the layout editor, the channel template designer, widgets and their settings, non-photo and non-video content (live streams, web pages, and audio), name changes, user and permissions, and reports.

PERMISSIONS

• Camera: Take photos and videos for publishing, and read the code used to link a new screen.

• Microphone: Only because a video recorded with the camera includes sound. The application does not record audio separately or listen in the background.

• Photos and videos: Choose the file you want to publish from your gallery. The rest of your gallery is not accessed.

All requests are made when needed, and you can decline them: the application continues to function, without that specific feature.

PRIVACY

CORVUS has no servers of its own or central accounts: it connects to your company's server, and the data goes there, nowhere else. It does not incorporate analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking, and it does not collect your phone's location. Session credentials are stored in the system's secure vault, and all communication is encrypted.
