The Official Guide to Coripe app is a free tool part of the Unified Digital Street Map of Andalusia (CDAU) project and developed by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia (IECA). This app offers detailed information about Coripe, a picturesque village located in the Sierra Sur region of Seville, within the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. Its notable features include:

History and Heritage: Coripe's origin dates back to the time of the Turduli (6th–4th centuries BC), founders of Irippo, later renamed Coripo by the Romans. During the Middle Ages, it was a border territory between the Christian and Granada kingdoms, and the foundations of an Arab defensive tower are still preserved. The modern settlement was established in the 18th century and, after being dependent on Morón de la Frontera, was declared a town in 1894. Its parish church of San Pedro (1869–1859) is characterized by its simple white façade, Baroque dome, and traditional religious content.

Activities: Coripe is the starting point of the famous Sierra Green Route, a 38-km hiking and cycling route that passes through tunnels, viaducts, and mountain landscapes, connecting Puerto Serrano with Olvera. This route includes the Chaparro de la Vega natural monument, a centuries-old holm oak declared a Natural Monument (2001), where the Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Fátima is celebrated every second Sunday in May. Another emblematic landmark is the Peñón de Zaframagón, a nature reserve with one of the largest colonies of griffon vultures in Andalusia, accessible from the Green Route.

Local Gastronomy: Coripe's cuisine stands out for its use of local products such as extra virgin olive oil, asparagus (especially tagarnina asparagus), game meats, and cured meats (chorizo ​​and blood sausage). Typical pastries include hornazos (a type of pastry), wine rings (roscos de vino), buñuelos (a type of pastry), and polvorones (a type of shortbread).

Festivals and Traditions: Among its most unique celebrations is the Burning of Judas, declared of National Tourist Interest, where every Easter Sunday an effigy symbolizing a controversial public figure of the year is shot and burned. The Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Fátima is celebrated next to Chaparro de la Vega with carts and horsemen. Other notable events include the San Pedro Fair at the end of June and the Venta la Vaca festival in August.
