This Vietnamese Bible commonly known as the "Cadman Version" was primarily translated by Grace Hazenberg Cadman and John Drange Olsen, with Grace's husband, William Cadman, managing the Bible printing in Hanoi. The translation was a collaborative effort, with Grace and John working together on the New Testament (1923) and the Old Testament (1926). The Cadman version is still the standard Protestant Vietnamese version, and it was the first translation directly from the Greek.
