GIOAT shows you how investors actually perform — measured, not claimed.

Anyone can post a screenshot of a good trade. GIOAT connects directly to real brokerage accounts and calculates performance from daily portfolio snapshots, so the numbers you see are derived from actual account values rather than self-reported results.

HOW PERFORMANCE IS MEASURED

GIOAT uses Time-Weighted Return (TWR), the same methodology funds use to report performance. Deposits and withdrawals are identified and removed from the calculation, so adding money to an account never looks like a gain. All figures are historical and are clearly labeled as such.

IMPORTANT — WHAT GIOAT IS NOT

GIOAT does not execute trades. It cannot buy or sell anything on your behalf, and it never places orders in your brokerage account. Connections to brokerages are read-only.

GIOAT is not a broker and does not provide investment advice or recommendations. Following an investor gives you visibility into their publicly shared activity — it does not place trades, mirror positions, or manage money for you.

PRIVACY

Brokerage connections are established through SnapTrade, a regulated third-party aggregator. GIOAT receives read-only account data. Your brokerage login credentials are never seen or stored by GIOAT.
