UNDERSTAND FIRST

Deductible, waiting period, coverage limit, exclusion, depreciation: these are the words that determine how much you'll actually receive, and that no one has ever explained to you. The Soleo library is organized by life situation—buying a car, going on a trip, becoming a parent—and not by insurance product. Because that's how we search.

THE COVERAGE RATING

A score out of 5, calculated using a public scale, the same for all contracts. Each criterion links to the exact sentence in the document that justifies it: nothing is stated without its source, and you can verify it line by line. The methodology is available in the app. The calculation is deterministic—it's not an opinion, and it's not a paid ranking.

COMPARE BY METHOD

Two contracts side-by-side, coverage by coverage, exclusion by exclusion, coverage limit by coverage limit.

The current dataset is a demonstration dataset: contracts marked "fictitious" by the insurer are entirely fabricated to test the rating engine. They do not correspond to any real offer. The application tells you this on every screen where they appear, badge by badge—not in small print.

WHAT SOLEO IS NOT

Soleo does not sell insurance. Soleo does not receive any commissions from insurers. Soleo does not direct you to any intermediaries and does not recommend any contracts.

It is a neutral third party: we explain contracts, we do not distribute them. A Soleo rating is a factual analysis of a document, not insurance advice.
