JabulaniMoney is a convenient mobile application that allows you to apply for a personal loan quickly and easily for a variety of financial needs. We operate in full compliance with the regulatory requirements of South Africa.

Getting a loan is simple:
1. Download and install the app on your smartphone.
2. Complete the quick registration process by providing the required information.
3. Select the loan amount you wish to borrow.
4. Submit your application and wait for the approval decision.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a valid South African ID.
2. Be between 18 and 62 years of age.
3. Have formal employment and verifiable income.

Loan Amount: ZAR 500,00 – ZAR 8 000,00

Loan Term:
Minimum: 61 days
Maximum: 90 days

Maximum APR:
The maximum annual percentage rate (APR) is 116,06%.

Fees

Initiation Fee
The initiation fee is determined by the loan amount and is charged once when the loan is disbursed.

Monthly Service Fee
The service fee is calculated as follows:
Number of remaining days in the current month × (ZAR 60 ÷ total number of days in the month).

Representative Loan Example
If you borrow ZAR 2 000 as a first loan for a term of 90 days, interest is charged at the maximum monthly interest rate permitted under the National Credit Act (5% per month for first loans, 3% per month for repeat loans) and is calculated daily on the outstanding balance. The repayment consists of:
Principal: ZAR 2 000,00
Interest: ZAR 330,19
Initiation Fee: ZAR 265,00
VAT on Initiation Fee: ZAR 39,75
Service Fee: ZAR 199,80
VAT on Service Fee: ZAR 29,97
Total repayment: ZAR 2 864,71

Initiation Fee Structure

1. Loans up to ZAR 1 300
If the loan amount is ZAR 1 300 or less:
First loan: 15% of the loan amount
Repeat loan: 15% of the loan amount
Example
Loan amount: ZAR 900
Initiation fee: 15% × 900 = ZAR 135,00
The initiation fee is charged as a once-off payment when the loan is activated.

2. Loans above ZAR 1 300 and up to ZAR 8 000
For loan amounts where ZAR 1 300 < X ≤ ZAR 8 000:
First loan: ZAR 165 + 10% × (loan amount − ZAR 1 000)
Repeat loan: ZAR 165 + 10% × (loan amount − ZAR 1 000)
Example
Loan amount: ZAR 2 000
Initiation fee: ZAR 165 + 10% × (2 000 − 1 000) = ZAR 265,00

The initiation fee is charged in a single payment when the loan is disbursed.
Note: In line with the National Credit Act (NCA), the initiation fee is calculated on the portion of the loan amount above ZAR 1 000. This ZAR 1 000 figure is a regulatory threshold set by the NCA it is not the minimum loan amount.

Service Fee Example
If your loan is issued on 15 August (31 days in the month), 15 days remain in that month. The service fee is calculated as:
15 × (ZAR 60 ÷ 31) = ZAR 28,95
Adding the service fees for the following two months:
ZAR 28,95 + ZAR 59,83 + ZAR 57,90 = ZAR 146,68
Total repayment: ZAR 2 755,43
