About Alkitab Uud Danum

This book is one of the books of the New Testament, the Gospel of Luke, which was translated into the Uud Danum language. The native speakers of the Uud Danum language live in Sorawai and Olung Maluh Districts in Setang District, West Kalimantan Province, and there are also Danum Uud people living in Central Kalimantan. The Gospel of Luke is not translated literally from the Indonesian Bible, but is translated based on the meaning of the original text (Greek) into the Uud Danum language. The translation team also used several versions of the Indonesian Bible, namely: New Translation (TB), Indonesian Language Now (BIMK), and Simple Indonesian Translation (TSI).
