About Alkitab Ahe Kanayatn

This translation of the Gospel of Luke is intended to unite the people of Kanayatn who use the Ahe language so that they can study the Word of God together in the language that is most understood. The purpose of making this book is:

(1) So that people who speak Ahe can understand the meaning of God's Word written in the Gospel of Luke, apply it, and grow spiritually.

(2) The vocabulary used in this translation is Ahe everyday, making it possible for everyone to understand it, both young people and
adults.

This translation is based on the current Indonesian version. Thus, the priority is that the meaning contained in the Greek text is conveyed in a way that is clear and easily understood. With this book, we hope that current and future generations can learn the Word of God so that they know Him better. We also hope that this translation can help people who speak Ahe preserve their language and culture.
