About I, the Forgotten One

I, the Forgotten One is a 450,000-word interactive novel by John Louis. It's entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your
imagination.

You are the late king's eldest child and royal bastard. Disinherited and tossed aside, you were sent off as a child to fight in the distant frontier of the kingdom, to die forgotten
and unknown.

You, however, survived, and have been shaped into an instrument of war.

With the realm now in turmoil, you have been called upon to once more bloody your blade.

You must restore peace by any means necessary.

Even as you feel yourself slipping deeper and deeper into a pit of despair.

I was enthralled the entire way through and binged it through the entire night to finish because it was too good to put down. Very well written, detailed and absolutely one of the best IF's I've played in long time. I can't wait for what's next.

THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! Hands down one of the best IF I've ever played. I love how the dialogue choices are not locked behind stats (except for the ones tied to the jealousy stat, which makes sense). Obren's route feels so good, I cant wait to see the relationship development in the next book!

A very detailed, action packed, book worth the read. The author really takes you into the mind of what it is like to be a soldier. Brilliant writing, brilliant characters, and plenty of choices leave you eager to read more.
