Madhwa Shastra Adhyayana Kendra, Udupi
The human form of life is appreciated by the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna in Bhagavad-Gita as ‘’Bahunaam janmanaamante jnaanavan mam prapadyate’’. If one does not utilize his life in seeking the spiritual knowledge of Bhagavaan (God), then he is merely destroying this rare opportunity of obtaining the human form of life, in this there is no doubt. If humans only eat, sleep, have kids etc. just like how animals eat, sleep, mate etc, then how are humans different from animals?
Vedas, Puranas, Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Haridasa Kirthanaas emphasize the significance of obtaining this rare human life. This knowledge can only be understood by the blessings and guidance of a true Guru. This is also declared by Lord Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-Gita as “tadviddhi pranipaatena pariprashnena sevaya”. The same has been instructed by our Acharyas and Dasaragalu.
We are all fortunate enough to be associated with Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya who appeared in Udupi and installed Lord Sri Krishna (who came all the way from Dwaraka to be worshipped by his great devotee). More importantly he has contributed Tattvajnaana (knowledge of the absolute truth) to the world thus showing us the path of liberation. Only through Bhakti can one come out of the material entanglements of this world. All through the teachings and life history of Sri Madhwacharya, he has pointed out that endeavor for this bhakti is the goal of life. In the lineage of Sri Madwacharya, many great saints like Sode Vadiraja Sripadaru, Mantraalaya Sri Raghavendra Sripadaru and Haridasas like Purandaradasa, Kanakadasa have all shown us the same path to achieve liberation. Research has proved that Sri Madhwacharya’s teachings has very close connections to our personal life experiences.
By the divine wish of Sri Krishna, Sri Mukhyaprana,
Sri Madhwacharya and encouragements from all Astamatha Shripadaru, MSEC has been established with a purpose to provide
