The Missouri Crisis Intervention Team (MO CIT) is a collective effort among law enforcement and other first responders, behavioral health providers, hospitals, courts, individuals with lived experience, and community partners who collaborate for the greater good of serving individuals in crisis. MO CIT supports wellness for first responders and created the First Responder Provider Network (FRPN). The FRPN is a list of trained behavioral health professionals who specialize in helping first responders who are experiencing signs/symptoms, such as sleep disturbances, sadness, social isolation, anxiety, anger, relationship struggles, grief, and or use of alcohol or other substances. The providers on the FRPN understand the culture and are trusted by first responders.
