About The nMSME Grading Agency
The Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) which is the premier nano, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (nMSME) promotion/development agency in the country is currently conducting a feasibility study that explores the possibility of creating a public sector grading system. The proposed public sector entity will provide gradings to nMSMEs in Nigeria that will incorporate comprehensive due diligence reporting on these entities with the objective of decreasing the information gap inherent with these firms and ultimately opening up business opportunities. This mobile app has been created as a pilot project which will showcase its future functionality and to simultaneously increase the awareness of the project. Some of the functionality which has been included is: 1) The nMSME grading finder feature which will initiate the grading process, 2) The feature to obtain a SUIN number, 3) A get funded feature, 4) A comprehensive business-to-business feature, 5) Export assistance, 6) The functionality to obtain a CAC number, 7) The functionality to complete all of the surveys. The business-to-business platform currently does not include many listings but these will be updated as the platform gains popularity.
