Status Download is a status downloader app for keeping the statuses you have already viewed. You watch a status, you like it, and a day later it's gone.
This status saver holds on to a copy, so you can download status photos and
download status videos straight to your gallery.

Here's how it works. The first time you open the app, it asks you to point it
at the folder where your chat app stores statuses. That's Android's own folder picker, so you choose the folder and the app gets read-only access to that one place. Nothing else on your phone is visible to it.

After that, every status you've viewed appears in a grid. Tap any photo to see
it full size. Play videos with sound. Hit save on the ones you want, and they land in your gallery like any other photo or video, ready to share, edit, or post as your own status later. Why people keep this status download app installed: Nothing is uploaded. There's no server behind it, no account, and no sign-in. Files are copied from one folder on your phone to another, and that's the end of it. It works offline. The only thing that needs internet is the ads. Photos or videos, the status downloader handles both the same way.
Share anything straight from the app without saving it first. Available in several languages, switchable any time from the menu.
