Solar lights are available in most garden houses and shops, and with a small boxwood bush, provide an immediate effect on the curbs around your home.


An extended terrace area in front of the house can be used as a sitting area and provides an attractive backdrop for outdoor events such as picnics, family celebrations, or weddings. A pink covered gazebo can also be a great addition to your front yard, as well as an ideal location for a flower garden.

Some raised beds frame the gardens for a neat look that can ward off complaints from lawn lovers. The community homeowners association limits the amount of non-lawn space it allows in front gardens.
