Trenčianske Jastrabie is located on the northwestern edge of the Bánovská pahorkatina in the valley below Považský Inovec. It is located at 18°5'' east longitude and 48°48'15'' north latitude. The village was founded on an old trade route connecting the Bánovská kotlina with Považí. It is located 11 kilometers southeast of Trenčín and 14 kilometers northwest of Bánovce nad bebravou. The village is administratively included in the Trenčín district and the Trenčín region.
