About Baby Diary: Pregnancy & Care

Pregnancy and your baby's first year in one app. Usually that means two separate apps: one installed in the third trimester, another after the hospital, and half of the records are lost along the way. Here everything continues: you count kicks, time contractions, and a month later log feeds and sleep on the same screen.

No subscriptions. Nothing is locked behind money: the contraction timer, the export for your doctor, the full history. The second parent is a full user, not a guest.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No sign-up, no account, no server of our own. Records, your baby's name and date of birth, photos stay on your device, and the app works offline. To keep the diary together with your partner, you can connect your own Yandex Disk: opt-in, off by default, and the copy sits in your cloud. You can wipe everything with one button at any time.

PREGNANCY
• Kick counter: tap to mark movements, the app tracks the time and shows the result against the "Count to 10" test and your own usual rhythm
• Contraction timer: duration, interval from start to start, the 5-1-1 rule (or 4-1-1 and 3-1-1 if your doctor named a different one)
• Braxton Hicks are sorted out with a few plain questions, so you don't head to hospital every time your belly tightens
• Due date from EDD or from your last period, trimester, countdown
• Maternal weight with the IOM 2009 gain range for your pre-pregnancy BMI
• Hospital bag: a checklist by block — for mum, for baby, documents, going home
• A kick count sheet and a contraction export you can hand to your doctor

A LAYETTE LIST NOBODY ELSE HAS
A list of things to buy before birth, calculated for your situation: the season at your due date, how often you do laundry, whether you have a dryer. You see how many bodysuits and swaddles you actually need instead of "buy 20 just in case". Debatable items come with honest notes: cot bumpers go against safe sleep guidance. Every item has its own deadline, shown on a timeline.

THE FIRST YEAR
• Breastfeeding with a timer and a hint which side to start from; bottle, formula and combination feeds in a single record
• Expressed milk stash: portions with expiry, labels on the bottles, write-offs, a daily chart
• Solids with the reaction and a photo, if it is something to show a doctor
• Diapers, sleep, bath
• One tap from the home screen, the timer survives a locked screen
• The daily rhythm is calculated from your own baby's records, not from a generic schedule
• Reminders for feeding, bedtime, diaper and bath — each is switched on separately, all off by default

HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Length, weight and head circumference on WHO growth curves, an immunisation schedule, vitamin D, teeth, temperature, medicines and doctor visits. A development calendar from birth to three years: 38 chapters, the first weeks week by week, then month by month. Milestones are age windows, not dates. For mum: water, blood pressure, wellbeing, cycle, weight.

NIGHT MODE
A dimmed dark screen and large buttons for the 3 a.m. feed. Turn it on from the header or let it follow quiet hours.

REPORTS AND EXPORT
Daily, weekly and monthly summaries, charts for sleep, feeds and diapers. A PDF with a summary table for the paediatrician. For yourself — CSV, XLSX and a full backup that restores everything on a new phone. Import only adds and never overwrites.

MULTIPLE PROFILES
Twins, siblings close in age, a pregnancy and an older child at once — as many profiles as you need, switched in one tap. The active profile is visible on every entry screen, so a record does not end up on the wrong child.

CALM WORDING
No red alarms and no talk of delays. Guidance is shown as a range, and reference data follows WHO growth standards, national immunisation schedules and infant feeding guidance.

IMPORTANT
The app helps you keep records. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it does not replace a consultation. Discuss any health question with the clinician who looks after you.
