The office of the prophet is scriptural. It does not matter your experience with prophets. The office of the prophet is the channel through which God communicate His agenda and plan to His people.

Prophets are supernatural agents, and because God sent them and they have the full and absolute backing of God. When you encounter a prophet you encounter the gift he carries.

Matthew 10v41  He  that receive a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receive a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.Nothing can stop the reward the prophet carries.

The secrets of God are not with your father,president ,friend or your boss. The secrets of God are with the prophets. The moment you get to know that you are going to be  a great person, you will change your attitude ,you will change the way you talk. God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah but God revealed it to the prophet Abraham. Prophets can negotiate with God

Amos 3v7  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

➡️Prophets warn About Impending Danger
Ezekiel 3v17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
The prophets assignment is to be a watchman. A good watchman will not sleep when the boss is asleep. The prophet is positioned or stationed in a spiritual post  to see good news  and to distinguish  bad reports and give warning . A spiritual post that gives visibility to see fro far distance.Divine ability to rebuke and correct in righteousness. When a prophet warn of danger, the purpose is not to cast fear. They give fore-knowledge of what is about to happen.

➡️Prophets Are Agents of Prosperity
2Chronicles 20v20 ..... Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
The anointing on a prophet stirs up prosperity.
