About Gate

Gate is the app people at Dhammatek use to run their working day.

It is a private workplace app. Accounts are created by Dhammatek for its own staff, and there is no sign-up — if you do not work at Dhammatek, there is nothing here for you.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Today
See the work assigned to you for today, tomorrow and anything overdue. Clock in when you start, clock out when you finish, and record breaks, lunch and meetings as they happen.

Hand out work
Managers assign the day's work to their team, see who still needs something to do, and move work between people as the day changes.

Reviews
Finished work goes to the right manager for a decision. Rate quality and productivity, add a note, correct the time recorded, and either approve it or send it back with a reason.

Chat
Message colleagues one to one or in rooms. Reply in threads, react, mention people, share photos, files, videos and voice notes, and search everything you have been part of.

Plans
Build and follow project plans, hand out the jobs inside them, and see where each one has reached.

Payments
Ask for a payment, follow where yours has got to, and — if approving is your job — work through what is waiting on you.

My HR
Ask for time off, raise a pay question, and handle anything else HR needs from you.

BUILT FOR A WORKING DAY

- Dark by default, light if you prefer.
- English and Chinese.
- Works one-handed on a phone, with everything reachable from the bottom of the screen.
- Asks for almost nothing: internet access, and the microphone — only while you hold the mic button to record a voice message.

PRIVACY

The app does not take screenshots, does not record your keyboard or screen, and does not collect your location. The microphone is used only while you hold the mic button to record a voice message, and at no other time. Photos and files reach Gate only when you choose to attach them to a message. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers, and there is no advertising in the app.
