About TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2021

This is the official VR application of TOKYO GAME SHOW VR 2021.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of TOKYO GAME SHOW (TGS), the first virtual exhibition site in the history of TGS is now open!
Set in “GAME FLOAT” floating in the distant ocean somewhere in the real world, enjoy 20 exhibitors spaces, 2 official stores, 3 special video contents, and a theater where you can watch the official TGS2021 ONLINE program on a large screen!

In the unique virtual venue where famous characters welcome you, you’ll find a wealth of information about games, from the latest news to the history of TGS.
Moreover, visitors can enjoy communicating with each other through voice chat, text message display, replaceable avatar T-shirt, and a channel function that allows you to go around with your friends.

In addition, if everyone collects the “Fragments of Crystal” hidden in the venue, the power of connection among game fans will be united...!

Event dates: September 30th (Thur.) - October 3rd (Sun.), 2021

A nice way to spend ~3-4 hours. Besides the UI, a quick tutorial, the NPCs and the map it was all in Japanese of course. Tons of trailers, screenshots, a short 360 video and some pretty impressive life size ...

It is better than I expected: you not only have lots of trailers and links to external websites, but also a vast area to explore, 3D props to see, and some humor here and there in the vein of a classical JRPG.

What an amazing experience, so mood-lifting, exciting with so much information displayed so beautifully in VR. I found out so much about so many amazing Japanese games that otherwise I would have missed out....
