🔍Use your phone as a metal detector and find lost keys, rings, watches, metal coins, iron and other ferromagnetic metals. The application helps to detect the presence of metal nearby by using a magnetic sensor (Hall effect electromotive force transducer), which is built into a mobile phone.

❓ How it works?
📱 Our metal detector app measures the magnitude of the electromagnetic field through magnetometer, which is built-into the phone. The typical value of a magnetic field sensor is about 50 mcT, but as soon as you bring your device closer to objects, which are capable of magnetism, and the sensor reading will begin to change. The application will react to this and display the actual data on the screen, and also will sound a beep.

📲 The first time you run/After the download, you will find a short instruction on how to use the app. After that, just move your device in the search area and look after the readings. Increasing of numerical readings and changing the color of the frame from green to yellow or red indicate a field with metal objects. For added comfort, when metals are detected, the application emits a sound, and a graph of measurements is built in the measurements’ history.
🧲 To use your Android as a metal finder, it must be equipped with a magnetic sensor. To use the application correctly, please check the specification of your phone. In addition, other electronic devices, such as a TV, computer, or microwave oven, can affect the accuracy of the readings.

🔍 A phone metal detector will help you to find:
🏠 iron pipes and hidden electrical wiring in the wall (like metal stud finder)
🔨 a metal profile, nails, screws and self-tapping screws; it will be useful during the renovation;
🔑 lost rings, bracelets, keys, coins 🥇, office supplies, etc .;

Application will not help you to gold finder, silver or copper, because such metals are not magnetic and its’ magnetic field are missing.

The magnetic sensor is very sensitive to electronic devices such as computers and televisions that are nearby, and that’s why it is not recommended to carry out measurements near such devices. Mobile phone accessories can also lead to incorrect results and reduce accuracy, especially if they have some magnetic or metal objects.
