The Profit Pro App is designed to help sales consultants properly negotiate with a particular car buyer. This buyer can also provide a car dealership with the best opportunity to earn profit while selling them a vehicle. These are the buyers that go to a car dealership with the purpose of trading out of a vehicle that they still make monthly payments on. Most of these buyers have the same expectation when trading these vehicles as well. Their expectation is to trade in their vehicle for a newer vehicle while lowering their monthly payment without putting any money down. This buyer represents 70 – 75 percent of the buyers in the marketplace.
Although this buyer represents a majority of the marketplace, sales consultants are not professionally trained how to negotiate with them, creating a fantastic opportunity for dealers to raise profit margins. Furthermore, the mishandling of this customer leads to a lower closing percentage, lower gross profit, lower customer survey scores and lower customer retention. The lack of training is also the main reason that customers do not feel as though they are getting a good deal, unless their request of zero money down and a lower payment is met. Dealers are typically able to meet this request with less than 5% of this customer base. Again, this is all caused by not properly negotiating with this customer.

The Profit Pro App will then determine how much money was financed and then automatically send the current payment and the amount financed to the Negotiations Tab. The Trade in Tab will provide drop down selections for the consultant to choose from to help determine the year, make, model, trim and style of the vehicle the customer is trading. This tab will help the sales consultant start a negotiation by providing a starting value for the vehicle selected along with how to present this value to the customer. The Profit Pro App will also automatically send the value along with the chosen vehicle's original M.S.R.P. to the Negotiations Tab. Finally, the Negotiations Tab will help the sales consultant walk the customer through the negotiation with 4 easy to follow windows. There will be 2 finance windows named Trade in and New Car that will give the sales consultant the information needed to properly negotiate with a finance customer. There will also be 2 lease windows again named Trade in and New Car that will give the sales consultant the information needed to properly negotiate with a lease customer.
The Profit Pro App and the 4 easy to follow tabs within the App will provide all the information and step-by-step instructions needed to properly handle this customer base that until now have rarely been properly handled. Along with the written information and how to instruction, the Profit Pro App will also provide how to videos with step-by-step guides of what to do with these customers and how to use the 4 Tabs within the App.
