Abu Sufyan bin Harith is still a cousin of the Prophet SAW, his father Harith bin Abdul Muttalib is the sibling of his father, Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib. He is also the brother of the Prophet SAW because he was breastfed by the Khalimah as Sa'diyah for several days. Most of his life since the Prophet SAW carrying out the message of Islam, has been spent opposing and obstructing his preaching. In fact, he had seen the signs of the truth of the Prophet SAW in the battle of Badr, but Allah SWT had not been pleased to give him the guidance of faith. In the battle of Badr, the strength of the polytheist army was tripled, but Abu Sufyan bin Harith saw an astonishing sight that was absurd. White-robed armies with mighty stances milled between heaven and earth, but left no trace and stepped on the earth at all. His face was bright with a wide forehead.

They, who are none other than the angels who were ordered by Allah to help the Muslim troops, attacked and broke the attacks of the polytheists without being noticed by the Muslim troops themselves. Many events occur, when a Muslim has not yet attacked, has just faced his enemy's head suddenly drooping and dies, or his hand is cut off, or comes to a Muslim captive just like what happened to Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib. This event that was not seen by the Muslim army or the polytheist troops was apparently revealed by Allah to Ibn Harith, but was not accompanied by His guidance.
