Khadija the daughter of Khwailid

Her lineage and upbringing:

She is Khadija bint Khuwaylid bin Asad bin Abd al-Uzza Qusay bin Kilab al-Qurayshi al-Asadi. She was born in the year 68 before the Hijra (556 AD).

She was raised and raised in a house of glory and leadership. She was brought up with good qualities and morals. She was known for her chastity, reason, and firmness until her people in pre-Islamic times called her pure.

So Mrs. Khadija sent to her uncle Amr bin Asad bin Abdul Uzza, and he came and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, married her. She was forty years old and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was twenty-five years old.

Mrs. Khadija - may God be pleased with her - was the first woman whom the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, married,

and she was the most beloved of his wives, and part of her dignity was that he did not marry anyone else until she died [.

She gave birth to him two sons and four daughters: Al-Qasim (who was nicknamed him), Abdullah, Ruqayyah, Zainab, Umm Kulthum, and Fatima.

Her conversion to Islam:

When God - Glory be to Him - the Most High - sent the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Mrs. Khadija - may God be pleased with her - was the first to believe in God and His Messenger, and the first of women and men to convert to Islam. The Messenger of God,

may God bless him and grant him peace, and Mrs. Khadija were praying in secret until the call appeared.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, received a lot of torture and denial from his people.

Lady Khadija, may God be pleased with her, used to comfort him and make light of the lies he received from the polytheists from Quraysh.

When God - Glory be to Him - the Most High - revealed the revelation to the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - he said to him (Read in the name of your Lord who created), so he returned with it, trembling, until he entered upon Khadija, and said: (Help me, comfort me).

They hugged him until he lost his fear, and he said: (O Khadija, what is wrong with me?) He told her the news and said: “I feared for myself.” She said to him: No, give good news, for by God, God will never disgrace you.

You will uphold ties of kinship, speak truthfully, bear all things, honor guests, and help in the calamities of truth.

Then Khadija set off with him until Waraqah ibn Nawfal ibn Asad ibn Abd al-Uzza ibn Qusayy, who was Khadija’s cousin, her father’s brother, brought him.
