The Holy Book Al-Qur'an was revealed to the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Al-Qur'an is a complete guide to life. The word Qur'an means reciting, which is recited. In other words, the name of the book that Allah Taala sent down to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, through Jibraeel (peace be upon him) for a long period of 23 years, is Al-Quran.

Every Muslim should know how to read the Quran. Anyone who claims to be a Muslim must learn the Qur'an. Learning the Quran is so important that Allah Ta'ala has made it obligatory to learn the Quran. The Holy Quran must be recited purely in Namaz. It is an essential responsibility for every Muslim to know the subjects of reciting the Qur'aat in Namaz.
