Core Gameplay

In Fauntra, players progress through multiple survival stages. Each stage introduces hazards, gameplay modifiers, and opponent challenges that reduce health or complicate strategy. Players must survive as long as possible while balancing risk and reward.

Players use tarot-inspired cards with structured ranks and suits. These cards can be played as valid combinations such as pairs, straights, flushes, and special multi-card sets. Certain combinations may trigger additional stage effects or provide tactical advantages. The table resets after rounds, but previous plays and stage effects can influence future turns.

Gameplay is turn-based, allowing players to carefully plan each move. Choosing when to play powerful combinations or hold cards for future rounds becomes a key part of survival strategy.

AI Opponents

Fauntra includes multiple AI opponents designed to simulate real player behavior. Each opponent has different playstyles, bidding strategies, and risk preferences. Some AI opponents aggressively compete in auctions, while others focus on long-term resource conservation or tactical card play.

Items are divided into several categories:
