Internet Speed HUD (Microprobes) is an innovative heads-up car display specially designed for micro-network speed measurement. The tool works with only 1MB of data per measurement (as opposed to the usual 40MB) to minimize the load on the connection quota. It allows precise measurements every 30 seconds to visualize and quantify fluctuations in internet connection speed.

The measurements are made using the Speedtest (Microprobiotic), a unique instrument for measuring the transmission speed of small data packets. Unlike traditional speed tests, the Microprobiotic aims to measure speed and variability in the transmission of small data packets, rather than average speed over time.

The tool provides a simple and intuitive way to monitor internet connection speed and identify early problems that may be caused by intermediary devices or environmental factors.

Internet Speed Hud (Microprobes) is deliberately a very small tool with only one dedicated task to determine the Internet connection speed without high traffic/connection quota load, which is why the measurement is carried out with a total of 1MB (instead of the usual 40MB).

When you download a file, it is not immediately transferred to your target device, but the transfer is done in parts and takes some time depending on your connection speed. Because connection speed depends on intervening devices and environmental factors, it can never be exactly the same and will vary.

If you are measuring a large file with a long loading time, an average/mean speed can be calculated. In fact, individual parts will arrive faster or slower and there is a range of variations.

Speed test (microprobiotic): The task is different than usual speed tests, accordingly not to measure an average/average speed over a longer period of time, but to measure the speed and fluctuations in the transmission of small data packets. 1 MB is downloaded per measurement, 1 measurement every 30 seconds.
