My Classic Car is utility that provides a classic car owner with a convenient way to track oil changes and maintenance, as well as, store part information on parts that may be difficult to find.

This app is intended for use on a phone.

Storing Part Information
The premise behind storing part information is many parts store databases often don't go much further back than the 1970s or 1980s. If you have a part number on hand it becomes much simpler to locate a part.

In addition to the primary part number is the ability to store additional sources for a specific part. FOR EXAMPLE: Store your favorite air filter brand and number and then store the part number(s) of other brands of filter that will also fit your vehicle all under the same listing.

Another feature in storing part information is auto manufacturers often shared parts between divisions. Things like ignitions parts, brake parts, interior hardware, etc. This app has the capability of sharing the same part between multiple cars. This saves storage space and more importantly prevents redundancies and errors.

Oil Change Log
After logging the first oil change each consecutive oil change will insert the information from the previous oil change information into the entry form automatically for you. Simply enter the odometer reading and change the oil brand if you need to for this occasion then tap save.

Maintenance Log
There is also a place to track maintenance instances.

To-Do-List

1. Add some pizazz and "Pop" to the user interface.


2. Add a backup routine for the database. Investigating Google Drive and DropBox.
