Our translated map layer shows street names, neighborhoods, and points of interest in English, side-by-side with the original Chinese. No more guessing which subway exit to take.

• Speak and be understood
Hold the mic, speak in English, and play back the Chinese translation instantly. Works both ways — perfect for ordering food, asking directions, or buying tickets.

• Navigate like a local
Tap any venue for transit, walking, and cab times — including DiDi deeplinks for one-tap ride booking. Map navigation for turn-by-turn directions.

• Pay without a Chinese bank card
View venue prices in RMB. Tap "Pay" to open Alipay's QR scanner directly — perfect for in-person merchant payments at restaurants, markets, and attractions.

• Edit your trip with AI
Don't like a stop? Tap "Edit with AI" and tell it what you want changed. Add food breaks, swap museums for parks, extend the day — it adapts.

WHY THE NEW NAME

"China" cannot be registered as a trademark in mainland China, so we needed a name we could actually protect. OrienScope keeps exactly what we do: helping you see the East clearly. Your account, saved itineraries, and settings are unchanged.

WHY WE BUILT IT

Most travel apps are built for domestic users. Most translation apps don't understand context. Most AI chatbots invent venues that don't exist. OrienScope exists because we wanted one place to plan, navigate, translate, and pay — without the friction of switching between five apps that weren't designed for foreign visitors.

PRIVACY & TRANSPARENCY

All AI-generated content is labeled. We disclose which providers handle your data (DeepSeek for itineraries, Baidu Cloud for voice, Amap for maps) and you acknowledge this before any data leaves your device. Personal data is removed on account deletion.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

• Voice and map translation support English ↔ Chinese only. Other languages are planned.
• Offline maps are city-bounded. Navigation outside the 6 supported cities falls back to standard map navigation.
• Alipay payment requires the Alipay app installed on your device.
