Digestive system is a complex network of organs that enables the body to metabolize food substances. It is also a vital component of homeostasis. The digestive system protects the body from harmful substances in the food and from its own wastes. In addition, it produces nutrients required by the body to maintain normal metabolism. This system is made up of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas, and their associated glands.
The anatomy and physiology of the human body is an incredibly complex system with a seemingly endless number of moving parts. It’s no surprise that psychology is such a broad and in-depth field. Psychology is, of course, more than just one thing. A lot of what it entails is studying how the mind works, why we think and act in certain ways, and how these things work in conjunction with our bodies.
