Scene Cut Studio is a film editing simulator where you step into the director's chair and craft short serial episodes from scratch. Unlike typical puzzle games, every decision revolves around the art of montage: arranging scene cards on a timeline, pairing them with the right soundtrack, and balancing mood flow to earn audience acclaim.


Each episode presents a unique brief with specific mood targets and scene constraints. You browse a library of cinematic moments spanning action, drama, romance, thriller, comedy, and sci-fi, then slot them into your timeline in the order that tells the strongest story. Four distinct music tracks with different BPM profiles reward thoughtful pairing, while jarring mood transitions cost production points.


The scoring system evaluates mood continuity, music synchronization, genre variety, and intensity pacing, delivering a star rating and audience score after every render. Seven progressively challenging episodes unlock as you premiere your work, supported by a studio guide, twelve curated film facts about editing history and technique, and eight achievements tracking your growth as a serial director.
