About Buku Kutbah Jumat Lengkap
The Friday sermon is a lecture delivered by an imam or khatib before the Friday prayer, which is an obligatory prayer for male Muslims who have reached puberty and meet the requirements.
The Friday Sermon consists of two parts, namely:
1. First sermon: In this section, the khatib usually gives advice about daily life, Islamic ethics, and an invitation to increase your devotion to Allah. Apart from that, preachers can also remind people about religious commandments and encourage them to do good deeds.
2. Second sermon: This sermon is usually shorter, and in this part the preacher offers prayers to Allah for the welfare of the people, country and all creatures. After the second sermon is finished, the congregation performs Friday prayers.
Friday sermons function as a means to remind people of their obligations as Muslims, encourage them to practice Islamic teachings well, and provide moral or social advice relevant to the current situation.
