Played for centuries across Telugu households with cowrie shells on a hand-drawn 5×5 grid, Ashta Chamma is a game of strategy, luck, and ruthless captures. Now you can play it anywhere — against friends online, locally with family, or against the computer.

★ HOW TO PLAY ★

Roll four cowrie shells to move your pawns around the board. The number of shells that land face-up tells you how many spaces to move. Land on an opponent's pawn — outside a safe square — and capture it, sending it back to the start. Race all four of your pawns to the center home cell to win.
