Erasmus+ Tech4TouristGuide: Innovation and Sustainable Tourism for Social Inclusion is the first Erasmus+ project for “Small-Scale Associations,” funded by the European Union for a penitential brotherhood and sisterhood in Seville. Promoted by the Brotherhood of the Trinity of Seville, in collaboration with other European partners from Spain (the Valencian company Play&Go, project leader, the Finnova Foundation, the Brotherhood of the Trinity, and the Prolibertas Foundation), Italy (Comunità Terapeutica L’Angolo), and Portugal (Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region), the project becomes a pioneering initiative of this type of collaborative action by Small-Scale Associations supported by the European Union within the framework of the brotherhoods and confraternities of Seville.
The project aims to address social exclusion and long-term unemployment among adults, specifically third-degree inmates and former inmates, by offering them training to become tourist guides on European heritage routes. To this end, they will be provided with specific skills in tourism and digital competencies relevant to the sector. Furthermore, it seeks to improve their social integration and self-esteem by offering them sustainable employment opportunities and promoting values ​​of European identity and citizenship.
