We do have music notation as an intermediary. Yet, much like our usual spoken language, we often don't write down what we speak or hear.

For that, check out the companion ‘Flute Sight Reading’ app which will allow you to get used to playing written music on your saxophone in two weeks’ time, capitalizing on your knowledge of the instrument itself, developed by the previous app, or better yet, utilise the ‘Vocal Sight Reading’ app where you will focus on written notes themselves and practice them separately without setting up the instrument, and by connecting them to your ear through singing them - playing them later on any instrument, let alone the flute, will become a breeze.
