NetScan — Network Scanner
See every device on your Wi-Fi, find security holes, and fix them. No account.
About NetScan — Network Scanner
See everything on your network. Find what's wrong. Fix it.
NetScan turns your phone into a complete network toolkit — device discovery, port scanning, Wi-Fi analysis and a real security audit. Free, no account, no ads, and it works entirely offline.
★ WHO IS ON MY WI-FI?
Scan your network in seconds and see every connected device. NetScan identifies the manufacturer from a bundled database of 39,000 hardware prefixes, then works out what each device actually is — router, phone, tablet, computer, printer, camera, TV, speaker, game console, NAS, smart-home gadget or IoT sensor — each with its own icon. Name devices you recognise and get alerted when an unknown one joins.
★ NETWORK SECURITY SCORE
Get a 0–100 rating for your network, with a clear letter grade and a prioritised list of what to fix. NetScan checks your Wi-Fi encryption, looks for evil-twin access points and ARP spoofing, scans for genuinely risky open ports — Telnet, wireless debugging, FTP, Remote Desktop, VNC, exposed databases, unsecured cameras — and flags devices it doesn't recognise. Every finding comes with a plain-English explanation and exactly how to fix it. Share your score as an image.
★ SPEED & QUALITY
• Animated speed test for both LAN and internet, with history
• Multi-host latency monitor — tells you whether lag is your device, your router or your ISP
• Signal strength map to find dead zones as you walk
• Bandwidth trends over time
★ WI-FI ANALYSIS
• Channel analyzer showing every nearby access point
• Rogue AP / evil-twin detection
• Signal, band, channel and security for each network
• DNS benchmark across Cloudflare, Google, Quad9 and more
★ FULL TOOLKIT
Port scanner (TCP + UDP) · Traceroute · Ping · DNS lookup · Subnet calculator · Wake-on-LAN with scheduling · mDNS/Bonjour browser · SNMP query · IPv6 neighbour scan · TLS certificate inspector · HTTP endpoint prober · ARP spoof detector · IP conflict detector · Public IP and ISP lookup · Captive portal detection · Network topology map · Guest network scanner
★ BUILT FOR PRIVACY
Most network scanners want an account. NetScan doesn't. There's no sign-up, no cloud sync and no tracking. The manufacturer database ships inside the app, so device lookups never touch the internet. Shared score images deliberately leave out device names and IP addresses.
★ ALSO INCLUDED
• Home-screen widget with live device count
• Quick Settings tile for one-tap scanning
• Background monitoring with new-device alerts
• Per-device timeline — first seen, rejoined, ports changed
• Saved networks with per-Wi-Fi history
• Export scans as CSV or JSON
Perfect for anyone who wants to know what's on their network: home users checking for freeloaders, parents auditing smart-home gear, IT admins doing quick diagnostics, and security enthusiasts who want real tools without a subscription.
NetScan requires location permission because Android requires it to read Wi-Fi details. Your location is never collected, stored or shared — it is used only to scan the network you're connected to.
