About WINGS
WINGS (Weather Information and Guidance System) is the official mobile application of the National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), an Research and Development (R&D) organisation under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India
The application provides a convenient and user-friendly mobile platform for accessing operational weather forecast guidance, meteorological products and decision-support information generated by NCMRWF. WINGS integrates multiple weather products and services available through NCMRWF's operational systems into a single mobile interface, enabling users to access official weather information anytime and anywhere.
The application does not provide an independent forecasting service. It serves as an official mobile interface for accessing products and services already disseminated through NCMRWF's operational website and associated digital platforms.
