Share your charge point and earn money
Make it a breeze for other EV drivers to get around without having to worry about low battery. You can set your charge point to “public” and let other EV drivers use it if they require energy. The Monta app handles everything from booking to payment. All you have to do is to accept a request if someone wants to use your charge point. You can always decline a request.
You can automatically set the date and time for when you want your charge point to be public and private. For instance, if you are away working 9-5, you can set your charge point to be publicly available during those hours and private for when you are at home. Or if you have a charge point located in your summerhouse, you can set it to be public when you're not on holiday. You can decide how much you want to charge guests using your charge point. If you set it to 20 % above the spot price, you earn a little extra and it’s cheaper for your guest compared to charging near the highway, in a parking lot or the big city.
Charge automatically when prices are low or green energy is available with SmartCharging
With Monta SmartCharge, you can automatically charge energy when prices are at their lowest or when green energy is available in the grid. Monta uses a unique algorithm to forecasts electricity. It’s good for you and good for the environment. Easily set your profile to either economy or environment (or somewhere in between) and Monta will charge your car based on your preferences. For instance, if you want your car to be fully charged Monday morning at 8 AM with the greenest profile possible, Monta starts charging your car automatically when green energy is available.
